Definition: Effective Date is the beginning date that the data or group of data with the specific attributes on this form was (or will be) effective.
What This Means: A term that is functional for users of ESP’s metadata dictionary tool, called DataSpecs. DataSpecs is used when developing an education agency’s data dictionary.
