Definition: Collection Burden is the estimated total people hours (staff time) required to complete this collection. The total is calculated by multiplying Expected Number of Respondents by the Time Per Respondent.
What This Means: A term that is functional for users of ESP’s metadata dictionary tool, called DataSpecs. DataSpecs is used when developing an education agency’s data dictionary.
